Tonight we had dinner with my sister Michelle (and fam) who has a second home in Draper. She lives in AZ. She is the oldest but the smallest. She is tiny or vertically challenged. She is a grandma. Michelle is amazing talented. I love this picture of us. The other sister holding me is Lisa. Lisa used to live in Vegas- that was fun. I think Michelle and Anthony have my dads eye shape, but my sister Lisa has his eye color. He loved that Lisa had brown eyes, his brown eyed girl. Michelle

was his oldest and I think in lots of ways the favorite. It may have been because she reminded him of happy times, first married. Aunt Sue loved Michelle and my Grandma Scharrier used to tend Michelle while her mom worked. Aunt Sue tells us funny stories about long ago. I never got to meet my Grandma Scharrier. I love hearing about her from my cousin Susan and Michelle, Lisa and Scott. Michelle has cute kids that are not kids anymore. They crack me up. It was her that gave my dad the work and the glory to read and from there he developed a testimony of Joesph Smith and then read the

Book of Mormon. I love her husband Craig. He is a dentist. I remember when I was tiny and he would sing to me, holding me over his shoulder. I was nervous because he is tall. We also used to watch a sci-fi show called V. Michelle used to cut my hair. She would sit up late talking to me. She is very good at remembering birthdays and keeping the family together. She is good to my mom. One of these days I hope we get to spend time together, visiting as adults. I'm impressed she blogs...
http://www.michellehollis.typepad.com/ The photos of her grand daughter are darling. I loved this one of some of my nieces and nephews from my side of the family. Scott side are all still kids but growing fast. I remember these teens being little. So many funny memories...

You are soooo cute. When is your first book being published? Dinner was great and always so fun to see you guys. Did you have to mention I was short. All my readers HA HA cant't see how short I am. I was trying to keep it a secret.
Missy-
I am very uninformed. I don't know how many siblings you have. It was very interesting to read your sister's blog (I didn't even know she existed)...I guess it always makes me happy to realize I actually have family members who are LDS. Do any of your other siblings have blogs?
I always forget to mention my older sisters and brother. My dad (Ted Scharrier) had three children from his first marriage. Michelle is the oldest, and then Scott and Lisa was the baby. From there it gets more confusing. Their mom (Marea) then married a widow (Jim) who had three kids (Jamie, Kerry, and Brad) and they had two additional kids, Mark and Jenny). Anthony and I are from Ted Scharrier's last marriage, which was to Marianne, my mom. So we have the same dad, different moms. I think Michelle has links on her blog to her daughter in law Ashley who is married to her first son Parker. Also her step sister Jamie and one of her daughters. So the ones you are related to are Michelle, Scott, Lisa, Missy and Anthony-- which are the Scharriers. Oh I guess you would also be related to Parker and Ashley and all of the kids from the 5. Does this even make sense? All 5 of Ted's kids are active LDS. It is nice to know you are not alone out there. We need to have reunion.
Oh and my cousin Susan is a Scharrier too! She lives in CA. SHe has 3 teenagers and is the same age as my older brother Scott. Susan was not raised LDS. ALso I don't know if you knew my husband Scott is a convert to teh LDS faith. He is the only one in his family that is LDS. Hope that answers some of the questions.
That is pretty confusing! But, it makes sense. Thanks for the information! It would be a lot of fun to meet all the Scharriers some day.
Hey Missy,
this stuff is great! Michelle told me to check it out, and I have enjoyed reading your entries. I will pass it on to my kids. Congrats to the new Bishop, that is great!
Tell the kids hello from all of us! They sure are CUTE!!!
