Ben and his bike

Our friend rides his bike often. It is awesome because it is making it possible for his wife to stay home with their young children. He is a school teacher. As we know we don't value education as much as sport stars so teachers do not get paid enough. I think kids are our future and they deserve the best chance they can get at making this planet great which I believe starts with education. I see him ride sometimes. I think he goes too fast. He was in an accident yesterday. He had blood everywhere. I watched the kids while his wife my friend Sarah went to be with him at the hospital. Her kids are soo cute. They have totally different personalities. It made me think about how many people are in need right now. We had 3 new babies born. The 4th baby has still not been held by his trooper of a mom as she is still in the hospital. We were heading up there to see her and then we got the call about Ben. We have 3 elderly people in the hospital very sick. And we have the ones who are still recovering from the deaths in the last month. I guess at any given time there is much deres. It is good to have people willing to shoulder the load and lighten anothers burdens:) It is nice to not be alone.

I visited Sarah and Ben on Saturday. Not only does he have road rash and stitches on his face, he also fractured his arm and that was causing him some significant pain. He refused to rest until he was done working. He's a tough one!

It was so fun to watch Anna play with Madeline and Mason while us adults visited. I really think the kids missed each other. It's also sad to see that the lady who bought my old condo may not even be living there. The place seems to be empty.

You should have seen him with all the blood when they released him:( He is not one to ask for help or admit pain. I guess we are glad we don't have to worry about him misusing pain pills- he didn't even get them filled:) The Davis family asked about you on Sunday- they didn't know you had moved.
