I love tending the Kinikini children. It is always an adventure with the funniest of sayings and activities. They change and grow up fast, so I like to enjoy any time I get with them. I even loved having Pedro around; he has this wise little face and competed for lap space with Kenna. A few funnies I remember from this time were—Kaden, who wanted to walk barefoot in the snow, he claimed “My parents let me do it all the time.” He also said “get out of those jammies” he really likes me in clothes best apparently since I was not even out of bed when he made the demand. He seems a little

more moody or withdrawn- could be the disappointment over his failed wii plan or because I could not turn the Wii on the next day. Kelsie and Kaden had made a long list of plans for when I watched them, while mom and dad celebrated (at the Sultan Palace) 10 years of wedded bliss. Kelis had shows on DVR to watch and Kaden wanted to be the first to show me wii, which I had never before seen in person. They had fun with Chad and Ulma (who are so great), on Sat. The foiled plan started on Sun. Chad wanted to see the Super Bowl, using the DVR. The TV that has the DVR and Wii are one and the same so the kids lost out and we went to plan B in the basement. The basement didn’t have wii or DVR so I tried to distract the kids with a cool fort and a movie the kids LOVE called puppy buddies or something like that. (They have watched it everyday since getting it, it is a cute story and Scott will love it because he is obsessed with golden retrievers.) I told the kids after the game I would let them stay up late and risk never being allowed to tend again so they could use the other TV. By the time it become free it was way too late so I said I’d make it up to them tomorrow. How was I to know you need a degree just to guess which of the 7 remotes might at least turn the TV on? Which is what lead to the desire to walk barefoot in the snow drifts to the nearest adult smart enough to own and turn on a wii. Mckenna and I had fun one on one time, she says Meesee- sooooo cute. Kelsie wanted to know who I was going to vote for. I told her some of the choices may lead to scary outcomes for our country but the upside to it would be maybe Jesus could come sooner, she replied “Oh No! I don’t want Him to come before I can get a cell phone!” I wonder if I loved my monchi chi as much as kids of today love all the cool gadgets of today? Happy 10th to my good buddies here is to 100 more:)

I don't know - Kaden shows up at my house on a regular basis with bare feet in the snow. I think it's a Kinikini thing! Kaden has also told me that I needed to change my shirt. He cracks me up everytime I talk to him! They're lucky to have you!
