Dole Pineapple Hawaii

Did you know that it takes 20 mounts for a pineapple to grow? Did you know that there are tons of different kinds of them and they grow year round? My mom dropped one on her foot and broke her toe in Hawaii... or maybe it was a can of hawaiin punch I forget but I also thought of my parents while visiting the pineapple farm. They sell everykind of pineapple priduct you can dream of. We also had shaved ice this day with huge tapoica-ish balls and ice cream in the bottom and condensed milk on top. I realized I was lucky to grow up in Cottonwood Heights where I had real shaved ice all the time. Not snow cones or crushed ice but real shaved ice like powered snow just like in Hawaii. But we do not have the other stuff where I grew up. There is nothing like a real shaved ice. The flavor gets into the entire thing. Every bite. Yum!
