Sweet art

I am thinking I would like to take a cake decorating class. I love making cakes for family and friends. I would not want to sell them but for people I love I am having so much fun. These two were for ladies who love dance. My friend Beki wanted a white cake round with pink butter cream frosting. She wanted sparkles and she enjoys watching "So you think you can dance and Dancing with the stars" so it was fun to use her and her hubby as frosted dancers. Her dress was super pink sparkles with sugar crystals. I did several other poses and shoes around the sides. It tasted so yummo! The inside layer had marshmallow cream with pink sugar.

I also made these awesome sugar cookies looking just like the cast of the play I am doing but my family ate them as I did not have the courage to take them to the cast. There are a few of the ladies who are so criticala nd I did not want my sugar feelings hurt. Melissas eyes looked quite good.
Erin my little dancer gave me a copy of her latest dance costume and I used her as a model. She came over on her birthday to watch and help me get it all just right. I did all of her dancing shoes along the edges and it was adorable and also very tasty.

Not bad for no training. Just wait till I am trained. . . there will be no end to my tasty creations:) If only I did not get bored so easy I hope this will last until I really make a masterpiece.
