While in CA. my cousin taught me how to make guacamole. It was fun and I really love the taste. Especially with homemade salsa added to it. We had it for my little cousins 20th birthday party. It was fun to be with her and I think of her as three years old still. Tonight we went out to celebrate my friends birthdays Candice and Laurie. They are always making me laugh. We had fun debating on vampires, our ward, boys, and life. I was craving avocado's but I didn't see any on the menu. I've had a bad headache for a while now and perhaps it would only have made it worse. They showed us a T.V. show they have started to watch called the office. I love to hear Scott laugh. SO my question is... what is the difference between fruit and vegetable's? I'm hoping Mel can help me out:)Yummy Guacamole (2 versions)

The difference between Fruits and Veggies, as defined by The Cooks Thesaurus
Fruits: "Fruits are the matured ovaries of plants, containing the seeds for the next generation of plants. Many plants cunningly make their fruits sweet, the better to attract animals like us to eat them and disperse the seeds. Fruits are often delicious enough to eat out of hand, but they can also be made into tarts, compotes, shakes, juices, preserves, liqueurs, and many other things."
Veggies: "Vegetables is a catch-all category that includes many of the edible parts of a plant, like stems, roots, flowers, and leaves. We don't usually consider the fruits of a plant to be vegetables, except for fruits that aren't very sweet. Tomatoes, squash, peppers, eggplants, and beans, for example, are all fruits, but we usually refer to them as vegetables."
It is funny but there are no measurements. She used fresh garlic, freash salsa, salt, and if they didn't invite vegans she sometimes adds a little sour cream. So simple but so yum. SO are avacodoes fruit or veggie I will check it out for and answer:)
Avacado is a fruit, but one of those fruits that everyone thinks is a vegetable.
Oh I forgot to mention she also squeese fresh lemon too. SO it is a fruit?!? I love veggies, fruit is OK. So I am thrilled to know there is a new fruit I enjoy:)
