Ice

As much as I enjoy winter there are aspects that I don't relish. We went to dinner with friends on Sat. and then to play games. On our way out the door, Salina was in front of me and the first to hit the cement stairway. It was cold and slick. She slipped and it really scared me. It reminded me of how I always as a child played it safe. My friends would run and skid on the ice. I would walk very cautiously very slowly praying the entire time. I'm not too sure I ever had the carefree spirit. I love watching the snow and beauty from inside but if anything had happened to Salina... I won't go there. We took her to the emergency room. We saw a woman who was not even remembering who she was. It is strange how in an instant everything can change. We had a really fun time before the fall. We went with Marlene, Karson, Anthony, Salina, Jody, Adam, Jen and Stoney. It was fun to laugh and play the 80's game. Adam knew every sport question, Anthony knew every T.V. question and the rest of us laughed often. I can't believe how big everyones kids are getting. They are all so tall and grown up. We saw the Kinikini's kids the next night and OH i LOVE them. They makes me so happy that they are so excited to see me.
