I have been making cards over the last little bit. One was for Seminary Graduation, one for a homecoming, and several as cahllenges. If you like a fun challenge go to Marlene's scrapbook blog and she has a weekly one. The sho card was for that. Inside it is "Grab your crazy socks and Kick up your heels-- it's Birthday Time!"

I love the little gems. But the cupcake card Marlene made is the cutest card I have ever seen. I made one cute free hand
(which all mine are free hand I can't do the die cut thing) of a phone. I gave it to one of my young women who is very ill. The set of greena nd yellow are form my challenge to myself to set a timer and use only old stuff on hand. I love how simple they are and that they are colored outside yet white inside.

Missy,
I am inspired by your handmade cards. I'm planning a "Ladies Picnic" later this month and because of you will make my own invites. I think I will make them in the shape of a summer hat.
Love the shoe and what is written inside of it is funny!

Are you OK Missy? You haven't posted in a while and I'm a little worried.

HI Megan- how did the cards turn out? I have been traveling for a few weeks and did not have access to a computer. Can't wait to catch up on everyone and hear about the farm. I have a bad burn and I am in bed.
I haven't made them yet. The "Ladies Luncheon" isnt' until the 28th...so I still have time right? Reality is I will probably walk to my neighbors and invite them verbally. But I still invision the lovely "hat" cards....
Feel better soon, Missy!
Megan
