Ruth's Chris and Carlos

When I used to work for the airlines I would fly around to all the different stations and do trainings. One of the cities I went to Scott flew out and we went to a Ruth's Chris Steak house. I had some yummy thing with pecans and Carmel. Scott enjoyed the prime beef. So when we heard our good friend Carlos was in town and that they had opened a Ruth's Chris-- it was a natural choice to go and check it out while enjoying catching up. We had not seen Carlos since Dec. 2005 back at Disneyworld. He and his wife have moved to Northern CA. so we don't see him anymore when we are in CA. I loved hearing all about the changes and growth at the airlines, it seems as if they are really recovered from the attacks in 2001. At Ruth's Chris it is very upscale. They have taken over an older building downtown and did a fabulous job with the space. I ordered the famous chop salad and sweet potato souffle side. Scott and Carlos both had petite fillets. The plates come out of the kitchen at 500 degrees. They warn you several times to not touch the plate. Our server was fantastic which you don't see very often in our state. One of the great things about travel is the superior service out of state. It was a great evening we talked for almost 5 hours and the time flew by. Can't wait to see his wife I hope sometime soon. The photo was taken back in 2000. They are the friends who have really opened up the world of Disney to us since Jo Ann works for Disney and they love it more than us.
