Kelsie has always been a smart girl. She reminds me of Lauren with the oldest syndrome. They think they are adults and try to be involved with all adult conversations. I giggle at the way they address the younger kids. I love talking to them. SO 7 year old Kelise was telling me the other day how
I immediately told her "Kelsie you would be a wonderful mom and I know tons of people who have had babies the other way."
Total silence, followed by "What other way?"
Oops! So responded "Gosh- since I don't have any babies I don't know, how about you ask your dad?"
She then said her friend had told her you poop them out in the toilet.
"Wow- Kelise do you really believe that you have a baby in the toilet?"
She laughed and said she didn't think so but wasn't sure. I said I was sure you don't have babies in the toilet.
I warned her parent that she may have a few questions.
Then my friend Beki's girls were worried over an art book about Van Gogh written for kids. They could not believe someone would not see there own worth. Her oldest said the sweetest prayer and then told her mom when she dies she is going to find Van Gogh and tell him he was a wonderful talented artist. I love these tender sweet loving kids! Her kids also have said some hilarious things.
