Oahu's North Shore

I learned that the tide changes every day and every season. The big surf is mot there during the summer on the North Shore which makes for great water fun. I always have liked the Caribbean water more than Hawaii but this time I did see the light blues and turquoise greens. The people of Hawaii love to camp and we were there over a 3 day week end so the beached were packed. I love that the majority of all the islands are within 5 miles of the beach. The view are fantastic as you drive around the island and gain a little altitude. The jellyfish were gone by the time we hit the water- thankfully or we would have been in the pool the whole trip.
