This is a sad photo. (They would say it is a funny photo.) It is our friends who live far away. They were in town and didn't leave their usual dark chocolate calling card. Instead they wait for months and then email this photo. A photo of them near your house-- without you. There is a friend for you. Rub it in. It could have been worse they could have showed the kids. After all that is what I really like to see anyhow. The darling kids growing up far away from us:(. I don't like it when people move-- let me rephrase-- I don't like it when people I like move:) Well all I can say is-- ha ha hee hee you got us!

Good old Adam. Somethings never change.
When Levi and I moved, the ward celebrated our absence. But we miss everyone!
Just today the Rays said Maddy missed little Anna she also cried because London moves in a few days. I think being an old timer in Riverbottom I have become calloused to moves. After the Scharriers mentioned their move I quite speaking to them. So celebration is way extreme. I miss often fro Stake business and I come back to all new faces. The sad part is how fast you are forgotten. Because no one is left that knew you. Come back in a week or two for a visit you will see you will know hardly no one-- except us old timers-- and you know haw memory is with old timers. That is As the river bends...
It's so true. Levi and I were old timers for a while and we often forgot people after only a few short weeks of absence. It's hard to build new friendships when you move. We have great neighbors, but no friends here yet. I miss the days where we would get calls from people wanting to borrow eggs and sugar, or people that just wanted to talk. I miss the times people would come over just to watch TV on the big screen.
But on the bright side, we do get quite a few sales people. Also, our USPS guy drives a normal vehicle to deliver the mail. The first time I saw him, I thought he was trying to rob my mailbox.
